CIH Bank statement to Excel
Turn the relevé de compte you download from CIH Online or CIH Mobile into a spreadsheet in dirhams, checked against the opening and closing balance.

CIH Bank statements are bilingual, in French and Arabic, and they print the operation date and the value date stuck together — 01/0801/08 instead of 01/08 and 01/08. Copy that into Excel and you get one unreadable column, amounts that Excel treats as text because of the space in 5 000,00, and Arabic labels in the middle of the numbers. StatementEasy separates both dates, reads the dirham amounts as numbers and gives you one clean row per operation.
Download your relevé from CIH Online or CIH Mobile
- Sign in to CIH Online or open CIH Mobile. The same accounts appear in both.
- Open the account. Choose the current or savings account whose statement you need.
- Go to the statements (relevés) section. Pick the month you want.
- Download the statement as a PDF. Save each month; you can convert several at once.
Some documents may be charged according to CIH Bank’s fee schedule; if you need many months, ask your branch for the statements as PDF files. Business customers using CIH Mobile PRO can also download account extracts in Excel — those files can be opened in StatementEasy too, to get the same clean columns.
What changes between the PDF and your sheet
| On the CIH statement | In your spreadsheet |
|---|---|
| 01/0801/08 (operation and value date together) | Two columns: Date and Value date, each with the year |
| 11 355,46 | The number 11355.46, ready for SUM |
| Opération – Référence | Description |
| Débit / Crédit | Money out / Money in |
| Solde départ au … / Nouveau solde au … | Used to check the totals, not copied as rows |
The year is not printed next to each date; it is taken from the statement period. The Arabic labels on the statement are recognised as labels and do not end up inside the descriptions.
Checked against the CIH totals
At the end of the statement CIH prints the opening balance, the Total des mouvements (debits and credits) and the new balance. StatementEasy compares what it read with all three. If a single operation is missing, the difference shows up in dirhams before you export.

Questions
Can the Excel file be in French?
Yes. On the French version of this page the exported columns are in French (Date, Libellé, Débit, Crédit, Solde) and dates are day/month/year.
My CIH statement is a scan from the branch. Will it work?
A scan has no text, so it has to be read with OCR. It works for clear scans, but check the result: the balance check tells you whether every operation was read.
Does it work with multi-page CIH statements?
Yes. Statements that continue over several pages, with carried-forward balances, are read as one list of operations.
Is my statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server and deleted after reading. A statement we still cannot read is kept encrypted for up to 14 days so we can add support for it.
Is StatementEasy made by CIH Bank?
No. StatementEasy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with CIH Bank (Crédit Immobilier et Hôtelier).
