Standard Chartered has banked in Hong Kong since 1859 and is one of the city’s three note-issuing banks. Its statement prints Date (05 Mar, without a year), Description, Deposit, Withdrawal and Balance.
StatementEasy takes the year from the statement date — also for a statement that crosses New Year — reads Deposit and Withdrawal by heading and checks every row. Hong Kong statements are recognised separately from Standard Chartered Singapore.

Standard Chartered columns in your sheet
| On the statement | In your sheet |

| 05 Mar | 05/03/2025 |
| Description | Description |
| Deposit | Money in |

Dates without a year
A statement from 20 December to 19 January prints 28 Dec and 03 Jan side by side. The converter gives each the right year, so the rows sort correctly and nothing jumps to the wrong year.
Proof of funds for visas
Visa and school applications often ask for proof of funds. Hide account numbers if you like, then share the Monthly sheet with the balance at each month end.
An example line
On the PDF: 05 Mar MTR CORPORATION 52.00 18,442.30. In your sheet: date 05/03/2025, money out 52.00.
