CRDB Bank is one of Tanzania’s largest banks. It was privatised in 1996, is listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange and serves millions of customers through its branches, agents and the SimBanking app. Its statement shows Posting Date, Value Date, Details, Debit, Credit and Book Balance.

Statements for a loan or a visa
Banks, SACCOs and embassies in Tanzania usually ask for six months of statements. Before you hand them over, the Monthly sheet shows your income and spending each month and the balance at every month end, the figures a credit officer or a visa officer reads first.
Large one-off deposits stand out at a glance, so you can explain them before anyone asks.
Millions of shillings, every digit kept
Amounts like 12,500,000.00 are common on a Tanzanian statement. They arrive in Excel as real numbers, not text, so totals and averages work straight away and no zero is lost.
