What your Bci spreadsheet contains

Each row of the file is one transaction: the date as a real date, the full description, money in and money out as numbers in separate columns, and the running balance where Bci prints one. Whole pesos stay whole and every balance is checked. A first tab summarises the statement — period, opening and closing balance, totals in and out, and whether the check passed — and the Monthly, Categories and Recurring sheets come in the same download.

Using it for a small business or honorarios

Professionals who issue boletas de honorarios and small firms can filter client payments, separate fees and export OFX or CSV for accounting software. Transfers to and from MACH appear as movements you can total.

For the SII return, convert the year.

If something looks wrong

• A row does not match — it is highlighted and can be corrected.
• A business account — read the same way if it has Cargo, Abono and Saldo.
• A scanned cartola — OCR works; the PDF from bci.cl is exact.
