What your Nequi spreadsheet contains
Each row of the file is one transaction: the date as a real date, the full description, money in and money out as numbers in separate columns, and the running balance where Nequi prints one. Signed amounts with the peso sign become separate money-in and money-out numbers. A first tab summarises the statement — period, opening and closing balance, totals in and out, and whether the check passed — and the Monthly, Categories and Recurring sheets come in the same download.
Using it for a small business or proof of income
Many small sellers in Colombia are paid by Nequi. Filter payments from customers, total them by month and separate personal and business spending with the Categories sheet — a clean sales record without accounting software.
When a landlord or a lending app asks for your movements, the Monthly sheet summarises each month on one line.
If something looks wrong
- The PDF asks for a password — the Nequi app tells you which one.
- A screenshot instead of a PDF — download the statement from the app for an exact result.
- A row does not match — it is highlighted and can be corrected.
