The Saudi National Bank was formed in 2021 when National Commercial Bank (AlAhli) merged with Samba. Its statement carries a transaction date and a value date, then Description, Debit, Credit and Balance, with dates written like 05-03-2025.
StatementEasy keeps both dates, reads the riyal amounts and checks every balance from the Opening Balance onwards.

Transaction date or value date?
A mada purchase on Thursday may only post on Sunday. The sheet sorts by transaction date and keeps the value date beside it — use the value date when your month-end total must match the bank’s.
Old Samba statements
Statements from Samba accounts moved to SNB after the merger are converted the same way, as long as they show a balance after each line.
Quarterly bookkeeping
Drop three monthly statements together for one sheet per quarter; the Monthly sheet shows money in, money out and the closing balance of each month.
Home finance at a glance
SNB is one of the Kingdom’s largest mortgage lenders. The Recurring sheet lists the monthly instalment with rent and subscriptions, and totals them for the year.
Last tested October 2026. StatementEasy is not affiliated with The Saudi National Bank (SNB, formerly NCB AlAhli).
Questions
Does it work with Samba-branded PDFs?
Yes, when the columns and running balance are there.
Can I drop the value date?
Delete that column in Excel; nothing else changes.
Is my statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server, and deleted right after.
Is StatementEasy made by SNB (Saudi National Bank)?
No. StatementEasy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with The Saudi National Bank (SNB, formerly NCB AlAhli).
