Zenith Bank (Ghana) is the Ghanaian subsidiary of Nigeria’s Zenith Bank and serves many corporate clients, public institutions and their staff. Its statement lists Date Posted, Value Date, Description, Debit, Credit and Balance, and often prints the most recent transaction first.

Newest first or oldest first
Reading a statement backwards is fine on screen but confusing in a spreadsheet, where you expect the balance to grow down the page. By default the converter keeps the order the bank printed; one click in the Date column menu puts the oldest transaction first.
The balance check always follows the real order of the transactions, so a reversed statement never shows false errors.
Closing balance at the top
On a newest-first statement the first balance line is the closing balance and the opening balance comes last. Both are recognised for what they are, so the summary at the top of your results shows the right opening and closing figures.
