The Caixa “extrato por período” lists Data Mov., Nr. Doc., Histórico, Valor and Saldo, with amounts marked C or D — 89,90 D is money out.
StatementEasy puts the document number, the description and the amounts in their own columns and checks every balance.

A line, explained
05/03/2025 000123 PAG BOLETO SABESP 89,90 D 1.322,10 C becomes date, document 000123, description “PAG BOLETO SABESP”, money out 89.90 and balance 1322.10.Savings and current accounts
Caixa uses the same period statement for both; savings yield appears as credits you can filter and total.
When you only have a photo
A photo or scanned printout can also be read with OCR, more slowly and less exactly than the app’s PDF.
What your Caixa spreadsheet contains
Each row of the file is one transaction: the date as a real date, the full description, money in and money out as numbers in separate columns, and the running balance where Caixa prints one. The document number (Nr. Doc.) stays in its own column and the C and D letters become money-in and money-out columns. A first tab summarises the statement — period, opening and closing balance, totals in and out, and whether the check passed — and the Monthly, Categories and Recurring sheets come in the same download.
Using it for benefits, FGTS and housing loans
Social benefits, FGTS withdrawals and government payments often go through Caixa. The Monthly sheet shows each credit month by month, and filtering by description totals everything received from one programme in a year.
If you pay a housing loan through Caixa, the instalments appear in the Recurring sheet with their usual amount and date.
If something looks wrong
- Only a photo — it can be read with OCR; the app’s PDF is exact.
- A row does not match — it is highlighted and can be corrected.
- Savings and current account in one file — each account is checked against its own balance.
