How Citizens statements are read
Layout: Sections Deposits & Credits, ATM/Purchases and Other Debits with Date | Amount | Description.
- Each section decides the direction of its amounts.
- The beginning and ending balance check the totals.
- Dates are read as month/day (for example 01/31); you can export them in any format.
Getting the PDF from Citizens
Typically: Sign in to Citizens online banking, open the account, choose Statements and download the PDF. Menus change from time to time; look for “Statements” in online banking or the app.

Yes. The real Citizens statement layout was tested: every transaction was found and the result matched the balances printed on the statement.
Is my Citizens statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server, and deleted after reading. A statement we cannot read yet is kept encrypted for up to 14 days so we can add support for it.
Can I convert a whole year of statements?
Yes. Drop all the monthly PDFs at once and use “All files combined” to get one sheet with a File column.
Is StatementEasy made by Citizens?
