How ING Australia statements are read

Layout: Date | Description | Debit | Credit | Balance, dates as DD/MM/YYYY.

  • Debit and Credit are read as money out and money in; the balance checks every row.
  • Dates are read as day/month (for example 31/01); you can export them in any format.

Getting the PDF from ING Australia

Typically: In ING online banking or the app, open the account, choose Statements and download the PDF. Menus change from time to time; look for “Statements” in online banking or the app.

Use the PDF statement itself, not a screenshot or a photo of a printout. A downloaded PDF contains the text, which gives exact results. Scans work with OCR (beta), but less reliably.

Questions

Does StatementEasy work with ING Australia statements?

Yes. The real ING Australia statement layout was tested: every transaction was found and the result matched the balances printed on the statement.

Is my ING Australia statement uploaded?

Can I convert a whole year of statements?

Yes. Drop all the monthly PDFs at once and use “All files combined” to get one sheet with a File column.

Is StatementEasy made by ING Australia?
