PTSB, formerly Permanent TSB, is Ireland’s third-largest bank and a big mortgage lender. Its statement lists Date, Description, Amount and Balance, with money out shown as a negative amount.
StatementEasy splits that single Amount into money out and money in, starts from the opening balance and checks each row.
How to download your PTSB statement
- Sign in to Open24 online banking or the PTSB app.
- Open the account and choose eStatements. Select the period.
- Download the PDF.
- Drop it into the converter above.

One signed amount, two columns
A single signed column is compact, but SUM gives you only the net change of the month. Your download has separate Money out and Money in columns; choose one signed column in Table settings if your accounting tool prefers it.
Either way the running balance is checked on every line.
Mortgage holders
If your mortgage is with PTSB, the repayment leaves your current account every month. The Recurring sheet gives the year’s total, useful when you compare a switching offer from another lender.
An example line
On the PDF: 15/03/2025 EIR BROADBAND -55.00 1,812.40. In your sheet: date 15/03/2025, money out 55.00, balance 1,812.40.
Older Permanent TSB statements
Statements printed under the Permanent TSB name read the same way, so several years fit in one combined sheet.
