UBA statements arrive by email as a PDF with Tran Date, Value Date, Narration, Chq. No, Debit, Credit and Balance, framed by an OPENING BALANCE line at the top and a CLOSING BALANCE line at the end. Narrations for transfers and POS payments are long and often wrap onto a second line. StatementEasy joins them into one description, keeps the opening and closing lines out of the transactions and checks every balance in between.

Spending on POS, transfers and airtime
The Categories sheet groups POS purchases, transfers out, airtime and data, bills and cash withdrawals, with a total for each month. Recurring lists the payments that come back every month — subscriptions, school fees, loan repayments — so you can see your fixed costs at a glance.
Statements for a visa or a loan
Embassies and lenders often want six months. Convert them together and open the Monthly sheet for each month’s money in, money out and closing balance, and Insights for the large deposits you may be asked about. Submit the bank’s official statement; the spreadsheet helps you check it first.

Does it work with UBA business account statements?
Current account statements use the same columns and are read the same way.
Can I convert a UBA dollar (domiciliary) statement?
Domiciliary statements are read by the same rules, with amounts in the account’s currency; the balance check on your file confirms the result.
My statement came with a password. What now?
Drop the PDF and type the password when asked; it is used in your browser to open the file.
Is my statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first. Only if it cannot is the file read on our server, and deleted after reading.
