How USAA statements are read
Layout: Date | Description | Debits | Credits | Balance, dates as MM/DD.
- Debits and Credits are read as money out and money in; the balance checks every row.
- The Beginning Balance line sets the opening balance.
- Dates are read as month/day (for example 01/31); you can export them in any format.
Getting the PDF from USAA
Typically: Sign in to usaa.com or the app, open Documents, choose Statements and download the PDF. Menus change from time to time; look for “Statements” in online banking or the app.

Yes. The real USAA statement layout was tested: every transaction was found and the result matched the balances printed on the statement.
Is my USAA statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server, and deleted after reading. A statement we cannot read yet is kept encrypted for up to 14 days so we can add support for it.
Can I convert a whole year of statements?
Yes. Drop all the monthly PDFs at once and use “All files combined” to get one sheet with a File column.
Is StatementEasy made by USAA?
