How FCMB statements are read
Layout: Txn Date | Val Date | Remarks | Debit | Credit | Balance, dates like 05-Mar-2025.
- Debit and Credit are read as money out and money in; Balance checks every row.
- The value date is kept in its own column.
- Dates are read as day/month (for example 31/01); you can export them in any format.

Questions
Does StatementEasy work with FCMB statements?
Yes. The real FCMB statement layout was tested: every transaction was found and the result matched the balances printed on the statement.
Is my FCMB statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server, and deleted after reading. A statement we cannot read yet is kept encrypted for up to 14 days so we can add support for it.
Can I convert a whole year of statements?
Yes. Drop all the monthly PDFs at once and use “All files combined” to get one sheet with a File column.
Is StatementEasy made by FCMB?
No. StatementEasy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with First City Monument Bank Limited.
