Since Allahabad Bank merged into Indian Bank in April 2020, millions of accounts get the same statement format. It is a long table of UPI, NEFT, IMPS and ATM entries with debit, credit and balance columns, rupee amounts in lakh grouping (1,25,000.00) and balances marked Cr or Dr. Generic PDF converters break the lakh amounts into pieces and spread long narrations over several rows. StatementEasy reads them as one number and one description per transaction.

Download the statement from Indian Bank Net Banking

  1. Sign in to Indian Bank Net Banking. Former Allahabad Bank customers can use their existing credentials.
  2. Open My Accounts, then Statement of Accounts. Choose the account you want.
  3. Pick the date range and PDF as the format. A whole financial year (April to March) works if you need it for your return.
  4. Click Download. Save the PDF and drop it here.

In the IndOASIS app, the account summary shows your recent transactions; for a full period, the Net Banking statement is the better source. If your PDF asks for a password when you open it, type it in here as well — it is used in your browser to open the file.

Every row checked against the balance

Indian Bank prints the balance after each transaction. StatementEasy checks every row — previous balance, plus credit, minus debit — and compares the totals with the opening and closing balance. A statement with hundreds of small UPI payments is exactly where a manual copy goes wrong; here a single wrong row is pointed out before you export.

For your ITR, a loan or a visa

  • Income tax return: convert the statement for the financial year, then filter credits to find interest, rent or freelance receipts you must declare. The Categories sheet totals them for you.
  • Loan applications: lenders often ask for six months of statements. The Insights tab shows monthly income, EMIs and other recurring payments, and large deposits a lender may ask about.
  • Visa applications: the monthly summary shows the closing balance of each month at a glance. Keep in mind that a consulate wants the bank’s own statement — the spreadsheet is for your own review.
  • Small businesses: export to CSV or QBO for your accounting software, or use Reconcile to match the statement with your books.

Last tested October 2026. StatementEasy is not affiliated with Indian Bank (including the former Allahabad Bank).

Questions

Does it work with old Allahabad Bank statements?

Yes. Statements printed before and after the merger are read the same way, and the bank is recognised from either name.

My statement is password-protected. What do I do?

Drop the PDF and type the password when asked. The password is used in your browser to open the file; it is only sent with the file if our server has to read it.

Can I convert statements from other Indian banks?

The generic reader handles most Indian statements with debit, credit and balance columns. Only banks we tested ourselves are listed as supported; the balance check tells you whether your file was read completely.

Is my statement uploaded?

Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server and deleted after reading. A statement we still cannot read is kept encrypted for up to 14 days so we can add support for it.

Is StatementEasy made by Indian Bank?

No. StatementEasy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Indian Bank (including the former Allahabad Bank).
