RBC statements list Date, Description, Withdrawals ($), Deposits ($) and Balance ($). The date is printed as 5 Mar — no year — and only on the first transaction of each day, so most rows have no date at all when you copy them. StatementEasy carries each date down to that day’s transactions, takes the year from the statement period (also when it runs from December into January) and checks every balance from the opening balance on.

Interac e-Transfers and payroll
RBC descriptions say what happened — Contactless Interac purchase, e-Transfer - Autodeposit, Payroll Deposit, Online Banking payment. The full text is kept, so you can filter all e-Transfers you received from a tenant or a client, and the Categories sheet uses the same words to total your spending by type.
For taxes, a mortgage or proof of funds
Convert the months you need together with “All files combined”. For your tax return, total business or rental expenses in the Categories sheet. For a mortgage or a rental, Insights shows regular income and large deposits. For a study permit or immigration file, the Monthly sheet gives each month’s closing balance on one line.

Questions
My RBC statement runs from December to January. Are the years right?
Yes. Rows before New Year get the previous year, taken from the statement period.
Does it work with RBC business accounts?
Business account statements with Withdrawals, Deposits and Balance columns are read the same way; the balance check confirms the result.
Is my statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first. Only if it cannot is the file read on our server, and deleted after reading.
