How Stanbic IBTC statements are read
Layout: Posting Date | Value Date | Description | Debits | Credits | Balance, dates as DD/MM/YYYY.
- Debits and Credits are read as money out and money in; Balance checks every row.
- The Opening Balance line sets the starting balance.
- Dates are read as day/month (for example 31/01); you can export them in any format.
Getting the PDF from Stanbic IBTC
Typically: In the Stanbic IBTC app or online banking, request an account statement and download the PDF. Menus change from time to time; look for “Statements” in online banking or the app.
