Kenyan bank and M-PESA statements to Excel

Kenyan statements mix bank transactions with mobile money: M-PESA transfers, Pay Bill and Buy Goods payments, Eazzy and app transfers. M-PESA’s own statement starts each row with a receipt code and prints the date with the time. Most Kenyans move money between a bank account and M-PESA every week. Convert both statements and drop them together: the transfers appear on both sides, so you can follow money from your Equity or KCB account to M-PESA and back, month by month.

What Kenya statements are used for

• Loan applications — banks, SACCOs and digital lenders often ask for six months of bank or M-PESA statements; the Monthly sheet and Insights show what they look at.
• KRA returns — convert January to December and total income and expenses.
• Businesses and chamas — filter by paybill or name, total contributions, export CSV.
