Tunisian banks tested on their statement layouts
The Tunisian dinar has a thousand millimes, and statements print three decimals: 12,500 is twelve dinars five hundred, 1 234,567 just over a thousand. Most converters read these a thousand times too large. StatementEasy recognises a statement in millimes, keeps all three decimals in the export and checks the totals.
Banks
Eight Tunisian banks are tested on their statement layouts: BIAT, BNA, Attijari bank, Amen Bank, STB, as well as UIB, BH Bank and Banque Zitouna. Others are read by the generic reader; the totals check shows whether every line was read. If yours is not, tell us the bank.
Bank by bank
- BIAT — no running balance, between SOLDE INITIAL and SOLDE FINAL.
- BNA — a balance on every line, amounts written 1.234,567.
- Attijari bank — both dates before the description.
- Amen Bank — Débit, Crédit and Solde, checked line by line.
- STB — from SOLDE DEPART to NOUVEAU SOLDE.
