Egyptian banks tested on their statement layouts
Egyptians are asked for bank statements most often for visas — Schengen, UK, US — then for loans and leases. StatementEasy turns the PDF your bank gives you into Excel, CSV or OFX and checks every running balance.
Each of the five banks below prints its statement differently, and each has a page explaining how it is read.
Banks
Detailed pages: National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, CIB, QNB Egypt, Banque du Caire. AAIB, Bank of Alexandria and HSBC Egypt statements are recognised too.
Five layouts
NBE prints two dates; Banque Misr writes months in letters with a brought-forward line; CIB uses one signed amount; QNB Egypt adds references; Banque du Caire starts from a previous balance.
Arabic-column statements

InstaPay, Fawry and Meeza
Instant InstaPay transfers, Fawry bill payments and Meeza card purchases keep their descriptions, ready to filter and total.
Prices after the float
Since the pound was floated, many households track spending more closely; a year of statements in the Monthly sheet shows which months jumped and Categories shows why.
Savings certificates
Monthly or quarterly certificate returns land as credit lines, easy to total for the year.
Questions
Which statement do consulates want?
Usually the stamped original from the bank; the converted sheet helps you check the figures first.
Is my statement uploaded?
Your browser reads the PDF first, on your device. Only if it cannot read it is the file read on our server, and deleted right after.
