The Kuwaiti dinar is the world’s highest-valued currency and is divided into 1,000 fils, so statements print three decimals. That trips up most converters: 12.500 is twelve and a half dinars, not twelve thousand five hundred.

StatementEasy works out the precision from each statement and keeps it in Excel, CSV and OFX, so totals match the bank to the fils.

Banks

Detailed pages: NBK, KFH, Boubyan Bank, Gulf Bank, Burgan Bank. Warba Bank, Commercial Bank of Kuwait and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait statements are recognised too.

When no amount reaches 1,000

A small account never shows a thousands separator, so the numbers alone cannot prove the dot is a decimal point. The converter then looks at the statement’s currency and IBAN.

K-Net, WAMD and MEW bills

Card payments over K-Net, WAMD transfers by phone number and electricity bills keep their descriptions, ready to filter.

Questions

Are fils rounded anywhere?

No. Every amount and total keeps three decimals.
