Costa Rican banks tested on their statement layouts
Costa Rica’s banking is shared between two large state banks, Banco Nacional and Banco de Costa Rica, the worker-owned Banco Popular and private banks led by BAC. Their statements are asked for when you rent, apply for residency or take a loan.

The Costa Rican IBAN
Costa Rican accounts have a 22-character IBAN starting with CR. It appears in the statement header; hide it with the other account numbers in Table settings before sharing.
Colones, dollars and exchange rates
The converter does not convert currencies: each statement keeps its own. For a single-currency total, apply the Central Bank rate for each date in Excel.
