The employee tax refund
Austria’s Arbeitnehmerveranlagung lets employees claim back tax for expenses such as training, childcare or donations, and it can be filed for past years too. A year of converted statements, sorted by category, makes it easy to find the receipts you need.
Renting in Vienna
Landlords and agents often ask for recent payslips or statements and a deposit (Kaution) of several months’ rent. The Monthly sheet shows your income and balance at each month end in one table you can share, with account numbers hidden if you like.
Coming from Germany
German and Austrian banks use the same words — Soll, Haben, Valuta — but different layouts. If you still hold a German account, convert both; each is read with its own layout.
